Swiss Water decaf coffee, with notes of roasted peanut, soft milk chocolate and cookie dough. A smooth, medium-bodied coffee with mild acidity and a little burnt-sugar sweetness. Choose a 227g bag of beans or ground coffee. Updated September 2026: this is the only decaffeinated coffee we roast, and it is built to the same standard as the rest of the range. The green beans are decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process, which uses water, temperature and time rather than added chemical solvents, and then roasted in the UK. It exists for the evening mug, the second pot, the night shift wind-down and anyone cutting their caffeine without giving up proper coffee. Choose beans or ground Beans: choose this option if you have a coffee grinder and want to grind before brewing. Ground: choose this option if you want your coffee ready ground. Check the product options against the brewer you use. How our coffee is decaffeinated Our coffee uses the Swiss Water Process. Green coffee beans are decaffeinated before roasting using water and Green Coffee Extract, with carbon filtration to remove caffeine from the extract. Does decaf still contain caffeine? A trace. No decaffeination process removes every last milligram, so a cup of decaf carries a small fraction of the caffeine in a normal cup rather than none at all.
