Contact Coffee Company Ltd. Travel Coffee Pour Over and Filter Papers
Travel Pour Over and Filter Papers A silicone pour-over cone with 40 V60 filter papers. The cone is flexible, near-unbreakable, packs flat, and brews a clean filter coffee anywhere you can find hot water. The complete pour-over kit in one bundle. How a pour over works Set the cone on a mug, drop in a paper filter, add ground coffee, and pour hot water in a slow spiral over the grounds. The water draws through the coffee bed, the filter holds the grounds back, and a clean cup of filter coffee lands in the mug below. Three minutes from kettle to mug. Why silicone over ceramic or plastic Ceramic shatters. Plastic warps and stains. Silicone bends to fit any rucksack pocket, takes drops without cracking, and doesn't pick up coffee residue. Pre-rinse the filter paper with hot water before brewing to wash out the paper taste. What grind to use Medium grind. A bit coarser than espresso, a bit finer than cafetière. Best coffee for pour over Single origins do well in a pour over. The clean filtration shows off origin character. Try Brazil Daterra for chocolate and nut notes, or Honduras SHG for hazelnut and caramel. Pack includes Silicone V60-style pour-over cone 40 V60 Coffee Filter Papers Pour over vs French press Pour over: lighter body, cleaner cup, more origin character. French press: heavier body, more oils, fuller mouthfeel. Different brewers for different jobs. We compared them in detail: pour over vs French press. How does pour over compare on strength? Read our coffee strength scale guide to see where pour-over coffee sits on the strength scale and what actually makes coffee strong.

Contact Coffee Company Ltd. XL AeroPress Travel Coffee Maker
XL AeroPress Travel Coffee Maker The AeroPress XL is the AeroPress, doubled. Same patented brew method as the standard AeroPress, but with a 20oz / 592ml capacity that's enough to fill two mugs or one large carafe. Includes the brewer, a shatterproof Tritan carafe, 100 paper filters, a stirrer, and a scoop. How to brew with the AeroPress XL Place a paper filter in the cap and rinse with hot water to remove any paper taste. Add 30 to 34g of medium-fine ground coffee to the chamber. Pour 440 to 480ml of hot water (93 to 96°C) over the grounds. Stir gently for 10 seconds. Insert the plunger and press down slowly. Aim for 30 to 60 seconds of total press time. What grind to use Medium-fine, the same as the standard AeroPress. Sits between drip grind and espresso grind. Our ground coffee (ground for cafetière) works in an XL. Pack includes AeroPress XL chamber, plunger, filter cap, and seal Shatterproof Tritan carafe (20oz / 592ml) 100 paper micro-filters Stirrer Scoop Compatibility note Standard AeroPress components are not interchangeable with the XL. Different chamber, different plunger, different filters. Stock the right kit for whichever press you own. Best coffee for the XL The XL handles bigger batches, so we tend to reach for a daily-driver blend rather than a single origin. Two suggestions: Battle Prep: Brazil and Latin America blend, balanced, chocolatey. Holds up to milk and dilution if you're filling the carafe and pouring multiple cups. Red On: single-origin Robusta from the Badra Estate, 1,293mg caffeine per 12fl oz. Bigger volume of Red On means more caffeine in the carafe, so pace yourself. How strong is XL AeroPress coffee? Read our coffee strength scale guide to see where AeroPress coffee sits on the strength scale and what actually makes coffee strong.
